I had used AVM as a storage facility and had not thought of them as a moving company for individuals such as my wife and me. I'm so glad that we asked. AVM provided the best moving experience that we've ever had - and we've had a few. They were diligent, polite and accommodating as schedules changed (which they always seem to do). The service and care of our possessions was excellent and we lost nothing to breakage or damage in the entire process. We had AVM do our packing and some unpacking and it was well worth it. Having been passed their number as the company we were going to use were extremely busy on the date we were supposed to move. Well what can I say. We were relocating from Gloucester to Blackpool and the guys were extremely helpful. They came in and removed everything from our house on the Thursday morning apart from the essential bits and pieces. They then returned early in the Friday morning to removal everything else and we started the long trek to Blackpool. Although we didn’t get into the house until approximately 4pm, they had put everything into the new house and were on their way back by about 6:30pm. I could not recommend these guys more. They were fantastic and really friendly. Well done to you all.

I just wanted to say - as a customer of both parts of the business - what a great company you have. Over the last 8 years, your staff have been unfailing friendly and helpful and the service excellent, whilst your charges have always been fair and good value. This was all exemplified in how your guys managed our house move - they went above and beyond to make sure we were OK and they made moving house, which is normally a really stressful and unenjoyable experience, as positive (even fun!) as could be. The AVM team was brilliant from start to finish both from the quote - which was competitive and high-value for the storage and removal that was offered. Charles was helpful and went out of his way to help us even if it didn't quite match the official opening hours, and helped coordinate a bit of a jumble of requirements. The removals team was incredibly efficient and speedy, the whole move could not have been easier. Would highly recommend.

June 2021 was the busiest month ever for anyone in the housing industry - 'when 213,370 UK homes changed hands' (Guardian 24/8/21). Everyone in the industry was under severe pressure: from lenders to solicitors to estate agents to house movers. Charles promised us from the beginning that he would be there for us and on deadline day, 30th June (possibly the busiest day of them all when EVERYONE was trying to complete and move) Charles & his team were there for us! They arrived at 7.30am and didn't leave us until 7.30pm. THEY DID NOT STOP! We couldn't have done it without them. Thank you again to everyone on the team - we never want to move house again :-/ but if we do, we won't go anywhere else, and nor should you!

Absolutely exceptional service. I have had storage units here for several years, and know my belongings are looked after beautifully. I also know that should I ever need to access my units and move things around, the staff will always be helpful, friendly, and nothing is too much trouble.
